Travelers Assistance is an essential function performed by Airport Foundation MSP Volunteers who staff information desks and walk the terminals assisting travelers with directions, flight status, lost and found, transportation, hotels and tourist attractions.

Travelers Assistance Volunteers also present the Animal Ambassador program throughout Terminals 1 and 2, providing comfortable, casual interactions with registered therapy animals, to help travelers feel at home while they travel. Volunteers may be assigned to Customs and Border Protection to welcome inbound travelers from around the globe, while assisting U.S. Customs personnel within the Federal
Inspection Area.

The Airport Foundation MSP also offers personalized 1:1 assistance for travelers with special needs who require help getting around the airport or during a connection. Meet and Assist requests are responded to by trained Travelers Assistance Volunteers.

In addition, the Airport Foundation MSP, in partnership with the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), supports complimentary special services and amenities that include: • Translation and interpreter services • Nursing rooms and family restrooms • Navigating MSP Program • Service animal relief areas
