“4.5 years”
What type of shift do you typically do?
“Figure on Monday (7-11)”
Why was the Foundation an appealing place to volunteer?
“Since retiring from the corporate job I had, I wanted to keep busy. I was on a customer service help desk, so this was just up my alley. It is also very close to where I live.”
What is your favorite part of volunteering at the airport?
“All the volunteers and travelers I get to talk to.”
What would you tell others who are considering volunteering with the Foundation?
“They would really enjoy the experience of volunteering here.”
Travelers Assistance Volunteers are available at Information Booths across MSP Terminal 1 and 2 to answer questions about how to navigate through the airport, as well as how to navigate to area attractions such as the Mall of America. Stop by an MSP Airport Information Booth to pick up Tourism reference materials and find yourself at great Minnesota destinations like the Mall of America and other exciting attractions across the State!
